AUSTIN, TX – Today the Central Texas Chapter of the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers announced Austin-area Mortgage Broker Robert English as President-Elect of the Central Texas Chapter. English will take his Presidency in October of 2008.
After the ceremonies, English said “I could not be happier with being elected President-Elect. It is quite an honor not only to be nominated but being elected is quite a wonderful feeling. I have big shoes to fill and am sure to have a busy year preparing for my Presidency”
The Central Texas chapter’s current President is Janis Cowan-Arteaga, also an Austin-area mortgage broker. Cowman-Arteaga will hold the post until October 2008 when English is officially installed as President.
The Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to advance the mortgage broker profession through the promotion of education, ethical practices, and consumer fairness. Member mortgage brokers and loan officers are not only licensed by the State of Texas but also take continuing education, subscribe to a strict code of ethics and in our opinion represent the top 10% of their profession.
